Travel day #

Today starts Vínculos 2022, an international cooperation initiative by the Siero Chamber Orchestra, this time in Poland 🇵🇱 and Ukraine 🇺🇦.

During the next 17 days we will bring music and activities to thousands of refugees that have crossed to Poland escaping the war and Russian invasion. This week, together with Polish and Ukranian musicians, we are playing in Warsaw, Łódź and Katowice. The following week we will have a few more concerts in Kraków and Przemyśl, before crossing to Ukraine and joining José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen team to bring music to Lviv and Kyiv, playing for those who couldn’t or didn’t want to leave their country.

Today it’s just a “boring” travel day, so I will stop here and continue tomorrow after our first rehearsals and first concert at the Dom Kultury KADR.
