Day 7

We woke up and left Łódź early because we had a relatively long trip ahead of us. Our destination was a little town in Lesser Poland called Oświęcim. Despite having less than forty thousand inhabitants, this town is well known internationally, at least by its German name, because of the infamous Auschwitz concentration camps.

When we arrived to the town, we had a quick lunch and rehearsed two pieces with the Orkiestra Miasta Oświęcim at the Oświęcimskie cultural center. Later, we did a concert with them at the main square of the town.
